The latest buzz in kollywood is that Sarath Kumar will be playing the lead role in the film Jaggu Bai which was originally planned for Superstar Rajnikanth. There was a huge hype created when poster with Rajini in Jaggu Bhai avatar hit the Tamil dailies in 2004. He had agreed to do the movie under K.S Ravikumar’s direction.

However, the project was dropped for reasons unknown. Rajini then went on to team up with P. Vasu for ‘Chandramukhi’ which became a blockbuster hit.

The movie will still be directed by K.S Ravikumar with Sarath in the lead. Sneha has been roped in to play the lead opposite to Sarath. However, the circle close to Sarath denies the news on ‘Jaggubhai’. While the sources confirm a new project of Sarath with K.S. Ravikumar, they say that it is not ‘Jaggubhai’.
