The crew experianced another setback with Malavika opting out of the movie. The buzz is that she is pregnant. The actress married Bangalore-based Sumesh in March 2007. The news of Malavika’s pregnancy came as a surprise to many in the industry as she is always in demand for doing item numbers. Her ‘Vaala Meenukum’ song was last year’s chartbuster while her recent ‘Aatama Thaerottama’ remix number in Singakutty is already a hit.
However, actress Malavika has stated that she would continue with the movie. But this prospect seems to be desolate now with director Rajeshwar contacting Swarnamalya for the same role. It is now confirmed that Swarnamalya would do the role instead of Malavika.
