The Chennai Super Kings has cancelled actor Nayanthara’s role as brand ambassador for the team. The Chennai team of BCCI’s Indian Premiere League had formally embraced the glamour that cinema is believed to bring along by roping in two Kollywood biggies –Vijay and Nayanthara - as its brand ambassadors. But now Nayan is out. “As Ms. Nayanthara is unable to meet the commitments of regular match appearances, the team has now decided to go with a single star ambassador,” said a release from the Chennai Super Kings team yesterday.

Nayanthara was not able to keep up with the commitment of making an appearance in all the seven CSK matches which were to be held in Chennai. Nayan has been not keeping well and was not able to attend the previous match of Chennai Super Kings match with Mumbai.

Vijay, who got such fantastic support from the audiences during the inaugural match on Wednesday, will continue to participate in all ground promotions and match appearances.
The question now is: whom will the Chennai Super Kings pick to replace Nayan?

Another buzz is that Dhoni and Vijay only will make the appearance in the promotional Video of the team.
