Director Shankar’s Endhiran (The Robot) with Superstar Rajinikanth and alluring Aishwarya Rai in chief roles is set to begin finally with the cameras on roll auspiciously on September 8th at America.

Instead of using the photographs of Rajini, it is an animation designed in black and white with Rajini holding a red rose.

According to Kollywood sources, Rajini had insisted that Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan’s name be given equal importance as his. Rajini plays dual role in this film. While one is the robot the other is a human Rajini.
